Curriculum

At Trinity All Saints Church of England Primary School, our curriculum is carefully designed to provide all pupils with meaningful and stimulating learning experiences, which are shaped by our school’s vision of ‘Growing Together’. It is broad, balanced, and ambitious, offering a wide range of academic and creative opportunities that nurture curiosity, independence, and a lifelong love of learning.
Our curriculum is coherently sequenced to ensure progression and depth across all subjects. While we maintain high standards in core academic areas, we also place significant emphasis on the creative arts, including music and art, as well as practical life skills such as cooking and outdoor learning through our Forest School provision. These experiences enrich our pupils’ education and support their personal development.
We are proud to offer an inclusive and diverse curriculum that reflects the world in which our children live. It is designed to ensure that every child, including those with Special Educational Needs, is supported to succeed and flourish. Through a wide range of topics and texts, pupils are encouraged to explore different cultures, perspectives, and global issues, helping them to become thoughtful, informed, and compassionate citizens.
Our Christian distinctiveness is central to our school ethos. Spiritual development is woven throughout the curriculum, encouraging children to reflect, ask questions, and grow in faith and understanding. Our values-based approach is underpinned by the teachings of Jesus, particularly the Parable of the Mustard Seed and is lived out through daily collective worship and a strong sense of community.
British Values—democracy, the rule of law, individual liberty, mutual respect, and tolerance of those with different faiths and beliefs—are embedded throughout our curriculum. These values help to shape well-rounded individuals who are prepared to contribute positively to a harmonious society.
At Trinity All Saints, we believe that every child deserves the opportunity to thrive. Our curriculum is a foundation for future success, equipping pupils with the knowledge, skills, and values they need to lead fulfilling lives and make a positive impact on the world.
